HIGH AND DRY Is Going Back To Tucson
Music documentary about Tucson’s eclectic musical heritage featuring Calexico, Doo Rag and Giant Sand returns to the Old Pueblo – Howe Gelb to perform after party

Los Angeles, CA and Tucson, AZ – (April 17, 2006) – Upstairs Film is pleased to announce that the music documentary High And Dry, a feature film exploring Tucson’s influential music scene, will have its official Arizona debut at the 15th annual Arizona International Film Festival. The premiere will take place on Friday, April 28th at 8:00 pm at The Screening Room in downtown Tucson. The film’s director Michael Toubassi will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening.

“Tucson and its music scene has been a long time inspiration for me, so it’s exciting to bring High and Dry back to its home town,” said Michael Toubassi.

Directly following the screening of High And Dry, there will be a party at Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress Street, highlighted by performances from Howe Gelb, Chris Holiman, and Al Perry (who are all featured in High and Dry) as well as a solo performance by Tom Walbank.
Admission to the after-party (for those 21+) is FREE with a ticket stub from the High and Dry screening, or a festival badge/wristband. All other attendees are just $5. Doors at 9pm.
