Music doc returns to 2nd Annual Tucson Music & Film Festival
Tucson, AZ (August 22, 2006)Upstairs Film is excited to announce that High And Dry will be making an encore screening at the 2nd Annual Tucson Film Festival this Labor Day weekend September 2 - 4, 2006 in conjunction with the Club Congress Music Fest and 21st Birthday Party. The showing will take place at the Screening Room, 127 E. Congress Ave in sunny downtown Tucson Arizona.
Fans of the Tucson music scene will have 2 chances to catch High And Dry; Sunday September 3rd at 3pm and Monday September 4th at 7pm. High And Dry will be screening along side the world premiere of Going Back to Tucson: Live at Hotel Congress, a concert movie filled to the brim with Tucson music from last year’s Club Congress 20th anniversary event.
“Going Back to Tucson is a perfect campanion film to follow up our Tucson music scene documentary High And Dry. The two are like sisters.”
Also featured are two documentaries making their Arizona premiere: SXSW fave Before The Music Dies, and Ghost on the Highway, a portrait of Gun Club front-man Jeffrey Lee Pierce. Other highlights include indie rock feature Border Radio, directed by Allison Anders and starring John Doe and Dave Alvin (who will be performing at the music festival)
