UPSTAIRS
FILM ANNOUNCES HIGH AND DRY WEBSITE LAUNCH
Los Angeles & Tucson – (March 2004) –
Upstairs Film is pleased to announce the launch of the official
website for the upcoming feature documentary, High And Dry.
The web address is www.highanddrymovie.com.
High
And Dry, directed by Michael
Toubassi, explores Tucson, Arizona’s influential music
scene through interviews and performances from many local heroes,
including Howe Gelb (Giant Sand), Eddie Spaghetti (Supersuckers),
Al Perry (Al Perry & The Cattle), David Slutes (Sidewinders/Sand
Rubies), Bob Log III (Doo Rag, Bob Log III) and others.
The
highlight of the site is a 2-minute Quicktime trailer, featuring
the music of Bob Log III and Howe Gelb. The clip offers a sample
of Tucson’s personalities and music, and should give audiences
a taste of what the documentary holds in store. The site also
includes profiles of the filmmakers, as well as links to local
supporting media and to the web sites of many of the bands featured
in the film. The News page has up-to-date items to keep folks
in tune with the film’s progress. All pages include rotating
still images of the different musicians, industry professionals
and current and former Tucsonans that were interviewed for the
film.

Film is a not-for-profit production company dedicated to producing
cutting-edge film projects. The website’s Support page
lets fans, friends and philanthropists who are interested in
