 Stacey
Halper
Stacey
Halper was born in New York and at the age of nine, moved to
Tucson Arizona. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography
from the State University of New York at Purchase. Stacey has
shown her work in galleries in New York, Connecticut, Tucson
Arizona and most recently participated in a group show at the
Kodak Gallery in Seoul, Korea. Stacey has been a contributing
photographer for various publications such as Towery Publishing,
Alyson Books, Us Magazine, Happy Web Magazine (Italy) Mamm Magazine
etc. Other publication credits include a cover photo for the
book “A Music I no Longer Heard” Simon
& Schuster. She has also completed her first short film
titled Bread & Bones, based on a series of still
images. Stacey currently lives in Los Angeles, California where
she is a freelance photographer and working
toward her Masters degree in Photo/media at the California
Institute of the Arts. Stacey is also teaching photography
at the Art Institute of California-Los Angeles.
